*** We left the listing up because we repair these, and did have parts/units to sell. These were very interesting products for the era. The SP1 were very strident and difficult to mod or fix for modern use and now require very rare parts for any repairs. A better product that works in a similar way is the later version Aphex Aural Exciter type A, B, etc. which has a much nicer sound, is more adjustable to be more euphonic 2nd harmonics enhancement device. Without a doubt, better for vocals and acoustic instruments. We also modify the Aphex to be more nuanced in their operation. However, we will attempt to fix your SP1 if need be, but tough to get parts. You are welcome to call.

Re: International Shipping: We ship internationally often and have yet to encounter a problem or complaint. We are very careful to test the equipment before it’s packed and then to double box the machine with added protection when needed for front panels, etc. We are not amateurs or an ebay store; we know these machines very well and know what it takes to get them to you safely. We use USPS priority internationally which seems to be the cheapest. If you prefer another carrier (you should know who delivers to your area reliably) please let us know. Also please be aware of any tariffs that you may be responsible for upon pick up on your end. International shipping may be expensive but we will make sure it is not a headache on top of the cost. PLEASE NOTE THAT SHIPPING INTERNATIONALLY WILL BE A MINIMUM OF $16 EVEN FOR SMALL PARTS.
Small half space rack unit. Modified by AudioPro- now with a lower noise power supply and a more subtle and musical sounding second order harmonic distortion circuit. Very nice for giving a "tube edge" to analog sound. Unit does second harmonic distortion, adding harmonies to presence frequencies. RCA ins/outs. Can do semi-pro +4dB.
