2 way speakers. Black Vinyl Cabs/Black Grills. Better sounding but basic compact system type speakers. 5" Textile surround woofs - sweep OK. 1" Paper tweets - sweep OK. Generally nice sound for small box - punchy bass, clear voice. Grills in good condition - minor dent on back corner.
Charcoal gray cabinet, 3. 75" square tapering from front to rear. Cabinet has keyhole to hang speaker and screw hole threaded for stands. Used in excellent condition.

Big Speakers, 4-way design, need woofers (inquire if interested in having rebuilt).
If you want a huge, live, bold, and thick sound, the AR9s have that character with double 12” woofers in each cabinet. The speakers do need some work though: the woofer foam edges must be redone and there are some updates the crossover needed because the speaker is way too mid-range-y for todays standards.
2-way speakers, vintage burlap grills - very good condition, solid cab - real walnut veneer, need new woofers (contact if interested in rebuilding)
We do a clever phase and impedance corrected crossover which will improve the bass response and midrange tweeter balance. AR parts are great but their crossover designs are not sufficient for power handling, efficiency, and phase correctness for most peoples taste in todays era. The modification runs about $200 for the pair. We stock matching midrange/woofers for replacements.
Hi-Fi Monitors, Rev 4 upgraded crossover cabinet dampening/phase corrected, 100 to 200 watt capable as loud mid field monitor, were new units out of the box, super well built monitor slightly softer high end sound character, excellent voice bass reproduction.
Sweep tested 20Hz-10KHz, has textile surround, beautiful real walnut veneer cabs/matching brown knit grills, very diffused midrange, very pleasant sound/veiled, bass is deep/clean-not especially present
Re: International Shipping: We ship internationally often and have yet to encounter a problem or complaint. We are very careful to test the equipment before it’s packed and then to double box the machine with added protection when needed for front panels, etc. We are not amateurs or an ebay store; we know these machines very well and know what it takes to get them to you safely. We use USPS priority internationally which seems to be the cheapest. If you prefer another carrier (you should know who delivers to your area reliably) please let us know. Also please be aware of any tariffs that you may be responsible for upon pick up on your end. International shipping may be expensive but we will make sure it is not a headache on top of the cost. Both woofers have professional refoam done 1 year ago. Units have new metal shields installed near power transformer to reduce minor hum noise. Audio circuitry is super quiet now. Both amps open. Checked trimmers and board connectors and switches. Test run, checked tweeters and woofers, all sweep perfect. Condition #8+
