Unit in top condition, some minor scuffs. Call, we have various units in stock Be advised that any change of drive mechanical parts, idler. pinch roller etc, will result in a change of speed spec and possibly tracking of tape across the heads. The parts from this era were quite variable in spec (springs , rubber quality etc. all varied historically, especially the pressure rollers look and work performance, due to different springs and rubber.) So confirm that you understand this and you may need an audio technician to correctly install and tweak the parts to ensure correct performance. Good pinch rollers now get $22, idlers $22 each, play key $6. Rubber parts are getting difficult to find in truly clean and un-warped surface condition.
FYI, Around the database you will often see us describe the condition of units on a scale of 1-10. #10 would mean the product is new from one of our suppliers, such as Behringer, Audio Technica, etc. #9 means the product is in perfect condition but is used, #8 implies there are some minor cosmetic scratches but unit is mechanically perfect, and so on and so forth.

Three head tape deck. with front panel bias and record levels, digital counter, LED metering. Calibration speed/alignment of heads is excellent. Excellent wow and flutter spec. ( I specialize in restoring items like this (much more in storage) and these are perfectly calibrated with new belts installed. The condition is literally “as new”. The proper adjustments have been made to the spring tension in the idler drive, head retract mechanism (they all need this work at this age point). Be aware, these machines will often fail to lock in play if you try to cycle from FF to Play in one step. Although it is SAE, these were manufactured by Inkel Corp in Japan, which is where a lot of later SAE stuff came from too. They have excellent audio performance; similar to a Teac 122 or Nakamichi.)
